Recently I posted about the Sun Savers competition to win a caravan at a Parkdean Resort of your choice, you can read that here. If you want to check out a Parkdean Resort for yourself, then why not give Vauxhall Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth a try?
If you book a 7 night holiday this weekend (must be booked by the 4th February) you can save up to £150. And pay a deposit of just £30.
Vauxhall Holiday Park.
I have stayed here a few times, but at the time I think it was still privately owned and not a part of the Parkdean family. It is a bit of a pain to get to by train (Coventry to London, across London by tube, London to Norwich, Norwich to Great Yarmouth for me) but by car it is no problem at all.
There is a choice of static caravan or lodges to rent. The site also has areas for touring caravans, there are electric hookups on each pitch. There are plenty of toilets and showers, places to empty tanks, and to do washing up.
The site has everything you need for a break. A couple of bars, takeaways and a shop. There is a swimming pool which is part indoor, part outdoor and a games room. The games room, well more of a complete building, has darts, pool and snooker. It also has its own bar.
I have enjoyed all of my stays at Vauxhall, although be warned, it can get quite windy being so flat and so near the sea.
Once you have arrived, everything you need is in walking distance. Outside the back of the site is the river, you can walk along the banks watching the boats. Across the river is the town (there is a bridge a little way down). Great Yarmouth town is a mix of old and new and has a great market in the centre.
There is an Asda by the train station and they will deliver to the site just like they will to your home. They will ring you once they arrive on site to find out your caravan number.
If you would like to give Vauxhall a try, you can book here. But be quick, the offer ends Sunday.
